Entrepreneurs Glue

Enjoying a glass of wine and discussion after a Venture Capital prize dinner recently, one of the VCs turned to me and simply said that the best entrepreneurs had one thing in common. Just one. Entrepreneurs Glue. This was an intriguing term. Not really a familiar term in the ordinary language of business.

Product Management is King

I have learned about Product Management the hard way. Not fully understanding market requirements, failure to focus on the customer, secrecy in development, feature creep, poor listening skills, no version control and not taking action on feedback were all things I would associate with my own earliest forays into the world of technology entrepreneurship.

Closing an angel round is not the same as pitching for capital. It requires 5 key ingredients to be present; speed, good news, a firm deadline, solid processes and experienced lawyers.
