I had the great pleasure to meet Geoff Kirkwood at The Breakfast Club LIVE event in London. Amazingly Geoff had made the effort to attend during his trip to the UK from his native Australia. I actually spent just minutes speaking with him but these were real quality minutes and his story, warmth and natural empathy left a lasting impression. Geoff is described as an entrepreneur, mentor, world-class public speaker and an author…I could go on and on…. To me Geoff is also a remarkable man! He’s an inspiration and he’s joining me on my blog to talk about the man behind his successful businesses and how life has changed after his successful treatment of colon cancer.
This is another very personal WOW for me as I’m introducing a dear friend and a woman who so inspired me to ‘go for it’ and make my dreams come true back in 2005. Jane Howorth is the founder of the UK’s only Charity that works with British farmers and for the welfare of all British laying hens, The British Hen Welfare Trust. She has worked tirelessly with British farmers and the Egg Industry to improve the welfare of the humble laying hen and provide consumer education for an informed choice. Jane is an inspiration to a team of amazing volunteers located around the UK and to me.
