The final episode of 'Britain's Next Big Thing' aired last night. Theo Paphitis re-visited all of the products from the series to discover how they had progressed and whether they had made it into their relevant high street stores.

I was lucky enough to meet up with Theo, with the great news that Boots had just placed an order of 14,500 Wingman boxes to be sold nationwide. I was sure at this point that the Wingman brand had finally been born and that all my hard work had paid off! I suggested to Theo that I had been lucky, but he assured me that the harder you work the luckier you get.

It’s been a crash course in business over the past few months and I’ve had to adjust and learn quickly. Since Annabel Franks (Boots Buyer) suggested an image overhaul of the brand, Wingman has gone from strength to strength.

To see my product on the shelves of Boots has given me a massive sense of satisfaction and it really goes to show that through hard work you can achieve so much....even from an office in your bedroom!

Now Wingman is on the shelves, I have got to continue the momentum I have generated. Hopefully this will lead to a repeat order from Boots.  I also plan to expand the range, making other Wingman products that will be hitting shops later this year.

I have to thank Theo for his fantastic advice throughout the series and to everyone who has followed my journey.

Stu, I unfortunately missed the episode, but will defiantly keep my eye out for a repeat or search online to find a clip. You deserve every success; you have a great product, a unique idea, you found a great gap in the market and your marketing creativity is awesome. I will be following your journey and look forward to sharing my journey with you in the near future. Since your speech and the business show I have found my gap in the market, I’m in contact with manufacturers and its full steam ahead. Good luck with it all, congratulations .
