The business was accepted by Doug Richard and his team at the Creative School for Startups Programme and was introduced to founder and chairman of Time Out, Tony Elliott.. The team gave received one to one mentoring from him during the course and in the last year alone This is Your Kingdom was one of the top 60 websites handpicked by The Good Web Guide for their Website of the Year Awards, was recommended in the Guardian’s ‘What I Like’ column and asked to join the expert panel contributing to The Independent’s ‘Top 50 Spring Days Out’.
In celebration of this year of Great British-ness, This is Your Kingdom are now rolling out their ‘Back Britain’ campaign over the next 12 months which will bring us pop-up maps to help us celebrate our favourite parts of the UK, local walks offering a guided tour of the city and the opportunity to win a giant hamper of Jubilee goodies courtesy of British brand, Tiptree.

The team are also supporting London based children’s charity, Kids Company who bring love, support and care to 17,000 children in the City. Hannah and Rebecca were ‘shocked and terribly saddened’ to hear that 2,000 vulnerable children are hungry and alone in the sixth-richest city in the world. Hannah said, ‘In a developed city such as London it is simply unconceivable that there are children going without basic needs such as food and water. We are honoured to support Kids Company in their plight to raise awareness of this ‘silent epidemic’ and would encourage all Londoners to do the same.
