Today, Julie Meyer spoke at the CUTEC Technology Ventures Conference titled 'Innovation in an Uncertain World' Based at Cambridge University. The event is Europe's largest student run conference, attracting 400 attendees globally.

At the event, Julie spoke on her views of the market, touching on 4 vital points:  Following the entrepreneur, capital follows ideas, the new economy and the cunning plan set out at Ariadne Capital, Julie's investment and advisory firm.

'Following the entrepreneur' is Julie's personal thesis - because it is entrepreneurs that see the inevitable and advance the future as entrepreneurs are abnormal people that do extraordinary things - bringing the future to us.

Julie also reiterated that society works best when it’s organised around the entrepreneur, somewhat of a theme in her new book  ‘Welcome to Entrepreneur Country.’

If you would like to view Julie's full speech, please see the video here.
