Successful coach David Key started using JigsawBox in January 2012 in order to productise his expertise in NLP. A matter of months later, he is now JigsawBox’s biggest success and is now changing the lives of over 1300 people.  So far, he’s sold $1.5 million worth of training courses and is expected to have in excess of 2000 online clients by the end of this year, and 10,000 by the end of 2013.

The ability to gain this many clients for David’s company, Auspicium, in such a short amount of time, has been brought about with a combination of easy-to-use online training software, JigsawBox, and online promotional tool Groupon.

In fact, Groupon approached David after seeing Auspicium’s “old-school” NLP training website, where his courses consisted of him sending DVD’s, CD’s by post to his students. David explains, “Groupon asked me if I had online training facilities, I had JigsawBox but I hadn’t started using it, but I immediately said ‘YES!’. I was a bit unsure at first but they have over 14 million users, turning access to them down would be like turning down The Beatles!”

It took just a couple of weeks to get David’s online training programme on JigsawBox from nothing to exactly what he imagined, with the help of the expert Virtual Assistants that JigsawBox provided. This was the beginning of no more paperwork, DVD’s, CD’s or shipping costs, which made life easier for the students and was more cost effective for David. And of course far more environmentally friendly.

The majority of the clients, around 800 of them, started David’s training programme within the first week that Groupon launched the deal online. This surge of clients in any normal business would be extremely difficult to manage, but thanks to online technology, it was seamless. He started using software that enabled him to automate the sales process. So when a client purchased the training, they would be sent an email straight away and so on. David said, “I was expecting the phone to be ringing off the hook but people are really computer-smart nowadays.”

His NLP training having global reach was something David did not anticipate! After the launch, Groupon Denmark emailed him asking whether he would do a deal over there, followed by Groupon South Africa and Groupon Dubai. He now has customers dotted all over the world, and because of the automated system and the availability of JigsawBox as his content-delivery platform, it is no more difficult that having customers based just in the UK. David said, “I can’t believe the reach my training programme has got, sometimes I think ‘how did you find out about Auspicium?!’ It really puts into perspective the scope of the world wide web.”

The development of Auspicium doesn’t stop there. The JigsawBox software makes the training product available to customers around the clock, without the need for the trainer to be there constantly for each customer. David has to merely check in and oversee the activity on JigsawBox, and as a result of the free time he has, not only can he spend more time with his family but he has time to think about more training programmes he can launch. In turn, he can create more income for himself – an upward spiral to massive success!

The bonus that David has found is the extent of the interactivity within his training programme that JigsawBox has enabled him to have. Despite being thousands of miles away from some of his customers, forums have provided ample space for discussion, customer-customer, customer-trainer and vice-versa.

JigsawBox has been the platform for David’s business to reach heights that he would never be able to reach using his old method involving postal orders. He wouldn’t be able to manage the clients brought about through Groupon, and he wouldn’t be able to start growing his business like he always wished. He does all this with free time and works to live rather than lives to work. It’s safe to say that David’s life has completely transformed, and he’s still only running his business from his office in his back garden in the countryside.

He said: “Today, I watched the Olympics and replied to a few emails. This time last year, I would never have thought I’d be able to say that truthfully in the near future.”
