In a bid to identify unsung heroes among Britain's entrepreneurial community, the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) and Standard Chartered Private Bank are launching a new award, the Entrepreneur All Rounder.

In a unique twist, in addition to demonstrating evidence of rapid growth, increased market share and excellent customer service, judges will also be looking for individuals who have contributed to building the entrepreneurial community in the UK.

"We believe passionately that it is entrepreneurs who are leading the economic recovery in this country. Now is the time to recognize those that are not only driving successful businesses for themselves, but are going that extra mile to help other entrepreneurs succeed." Said Michael Conway, Managing Director of Quayside Group and President of EOUK.

The Entrepreneurs' Organization is made up of nearly 8,000 entrepreneurs, from all industries, all over the world, with businesses turning over a minimum of £650,000.

Stephen Richards Evans, Head of Private Bank, West, Standard Chartered Private Bank said: "In line with our own brand promise of being ‘Here for good' we are thrilled to be supporting this new award created by EO. Entrepreneurs deliver the engine of growth in every economy. They are the job creators and therefore the tireless wealth builders of every society and we are honoured to be able to pay tribute in this way to the extraordinary achievements of the sector in the UK."

Details on how to enter the awards are available here . Entries are open to businesses with a turnover of more than £650,000 ($1,000,000) in the last year. Companies can enter themselves, or nominate a worthy winner. The deadline for entries is Friday 14th January 2011 and shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend a ceremony at the Saatchi Gallery on January 26th 2011.

A separate award with the same criteria is also being launched for EO members in the UK.
