According to Intel Capital's TechCrunch bio, since it's launch in 1991, Intel Capital has invested more than US$9.5 billion in over 1,050 companies in 47 countries. In that timeframe, 175 portfolio companies have gone public on various exchanges around the world and 241 were acquired or participated in a merger. In 2009, Intel Capital invested US$327 million in 107 investments with approximately 50 percent of funds invested outside the United States and Canada.

- Intel Capital participated in $8m Series C funding round of mobile video solutions provider Ortiva Wireless
- Intel Capital invested an undisclosed sum in Videon Central creaters of high performance digital video solutions for the consumer electronics market
- Intel Capital invested an undisclosed sum in De Novo an IT-infrastructure transformation and optimization, data center engineering systems, software infrastructure solutions, and information lifecycle management, as well as banking technologies company based in the Ukraine.
- Intel Capital invested an undisclosed sum in IPTEGO a German company which develops and provides software and hardware appliances for the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) industry.
- Intel Capital has invested $17m in Verismo Networks an Internet TV platform.
