HRH the Duke of York, Special Representative for Trade and Investment, who witnessed the signing in Beijing today said:

CHECSC is a major civil engineering operation which is involved in the build and repair of China's rapidly growing Expressway infrastructure and also operates internationally. It is owned by China Communications Construction Company Limited, a state owned and privately run group which is ranked as the thirteenth largest contractor in the world and within the top 500 global enterprises as of the end of 2010.

Following signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, HUALI will be supported by ASI technical personnel in 2011 on projects including major highways and initially, one airport. This agreement is an interim step, allowing introduction of the products into the China whilst a full distribution contract is agreed. With a total Expressway surface area of over one billion square metres, and a growth plan which will add a further 125 – 150 million square metres a year, significant potential revenue over the next five years and beyond is anticipated.
Whilst initially UK-focussed, ASI Solutions now has an international presence with clients in India, Germany, Spain, Australia, Middle East and Iceland.
