Experts from a leading retail hardware and software company are teaming up to help aspiring start-up retailers make their shop a reality at this year’s Business Start Up Show.

Independent hardware retailer EPOS Partners and software retailer CTS Retail will be exhibiting at the show, held on 17-18th May 2012 at Excel, London, previewing a range of entry-level EPOS solutions to help new retailers set up shop.

Scott Storey, MD of CTS Retail, will be delivering a seminar at 1.15 on Thursday, on the importance of knowing your market whilst EPOS Partners will be offering a free ‘Setting up Shop’ guide, designed to help attendees understand the variety of options available when thinking about starting a shop.

Despite having a solid presence in the retail trade community, is it the first time that EPOS Partners and CTS Retail have exhibited at the Business Start Up Show. They were attracted to the show this year after receiving an unprecedented number of enquiries from start-up retailers in recent months.

Scott Storey comments, “I strongly believe that 2012 is THE year for the independent retailer, which is one of the reasons why we are actively supporting ‘Independent Retailer Month’. The reality is that the costs of entering the retail marketplace have never been lower, especially with Pay As You Go EPOS software solutions like Cervello, coupled with handy entry level terminals like the Casio VX100.

It is far easier to find cheaper shop units too, as there is less competition from aggressive multi-chain stores to snap up every available high street location! The market is also much more accommodating of independents than it has been for some time and I believe there are some very exciting opportunities for those wanting to enter the retail market for the first time.”

CTS Retail and EPOS Partners will be exhibiting at stand 947. For more information visit www.bstartup.co.uk.
