Robert Craven, Founder of The Director's Centre:
What I love about the Forum is the fascinating selection of speakers and, of course, the audience. Delegates are there to find out “more”. They don’t want the simple trite answers, they want to really find out what works and how to apply it in their own businesses. As a result, they ask tough questions of the speakers and of each other. This provides for a challenging yet supportive atmosphere. Here’s to the next Forum.
Matt Perkins, Head of SME Engagement, FreeAgent:
I can say, hand on heart, that the last EntrepreneurCountry Forum was one of the best events I have attended in years - and I have attended quite a few! To me it is the perfect antidote to the usual business conferences that has you checking your watch and stifling yawns a couple of hours in. With so many engaging speakers, opportunities to network and a lively, vibrant atmosphere you'll find yourself checking your watch for a very different reason- wishing the time would slow as you don't want the day to end!
Guy Rigby, Head of Entrepreneurs, Smith & Williamson:
The Entrepreneur Country Forum is an unmissable calendar highlight. It’s a must for anyone wanting to get to the centre of the entrepreneur community.
Bradley Starr, Founder of Bizantra:
The Entrepreneur Country Forum always brings together the most inspirational group of entrepreneurs. The lessons across different industries combined with high level networking are invaluable.
Nasir Zubairi, Head of Product Marketing at The Currency Cloud:
The Entrepreneur Country Forum's have delivered some inspiring stories of business success and of overcoming adversity in the entrepreneurial journey. The forums are always great for networking too. I pitched a previous business concept of mine in front of a large audience and found the feedback and follow up to be excellent. The EC forum is a great platform to broadcast your company.
David Willbe, Counsel at Crowell & Moring
I have found past Forums to be interesting, engaging events. The speakers provide real insight into the world of start-ups and early-stage businesses - from entrepreneurs sharing their own entrepreneurial journeys to investors and advisers illustrating the lessons that they have learned from their involvement in the sector.
Here is what attendees of our February Forum had to say about the day.
Russ Shaw, Non-Executive Director, Executive and current Chairman of Marketing Group of Great Britain:
Now on my way to Heathrow after the Entrepreneur Country Forum at the Royal Institute...what a stimulating morning! Congratulations to Julie Meyer plus Bryan, Claire and the team!
Kanya King, Founder of MOBO:
It was great to hear Martha Lane Fox talk about diversity in business and the importance of reflecting upon the make up of society within your company.
Paul Lindley, Founder of Ella's Kitchen:
Overwhelmed by so many very kind tweets on #ECForum talk 2day. I am very proud to be a part of the great British entrepreneurial world. World beaters.
