Charlie Mullins is founder of Pimlico Plumbers - London's largest independent plumbing company. Leaving school at 15 with no qualifications and working as a plumber, Charlie had a vision to change the stigma of the existing plumber industry, with the company now boasting a celebrity client base and the most prestige service in the industry. Pimlico has become a family business that is part of the Pimlico Group plc, providing all trades with a workforce of around 200, 160 vehicles and turnover in excess of £16 million. Charlie has also appeared on BBC1's Posh Plumbers and Channel 4's The Secret Millionaire.

Lady Thatcher - A True British Icon

I am very, very sad to hear the dreadful news of Lady Thatcher’s passing. I think it is a devastating loss for us all; she is a British icon. I would like to pass my condolences to her family at this very sad time.

In years to come will I be recalling the details to my grandchildren of the day I sat a few feet away from the Prime Minister, as he mapped out 'once and for all' the future relationship between the UK and the rest of Europe? Only time will tell on that one.

After last week's rubbish from the opposition it was nice to see some common sense from the Conservative Conference in Birmingham. The reality of the situation is that currently the economy is out of balance; the sums just don't add up and there are too many people acting in a passive way when it comes to the part they play in the economy.
