Which political party backs businesses?

I was invited to the BBC's Daily Politics show recently, with Andrew Neil and businessman Roland Rudd debating which political party is the 'party of business.'

Well in my mind there’s no question about which party looks after business more and that’s the Tories over Labour hands down. When I started Pimlico in 1979 Thatcher gave business leaders some hope and inspiration in what was a very tough time.

And this current government is actually listening to small businesses in this uncertain time, at Pimlico we’ve worked with a number of Conservative MPs, where as the last government totally ignored us.

As far as I’m concerned we’re drinking out of the same teapot as the Tories!
