Youth Enterprise LIVE, which is supported by AXA Business Insurance, will be the first exhibition purely aimed at the youth community in the UK. Taking place over two days at Earls Court, London on 12th and 13th October the national event will give 15-30 year olds a chance to experience, educate and gain inspiration for their prospects in future employment and starting their own business.
The event showcases successful young entrepreneurs who have already begun their journey. They will share their experiences and the support they received, and help to alleviate the fear factor of going it alone. In addition to the young entrepreneurs who are giving up their time to share experiences, Youth Enterprise Live will also feature many of the leading speakers in entrepreneurship, employability and education.
The event has even gained the appoval of Prime Minister David Cameron, who said: “I believe a great future lies ahead for Britain – and when it comes to building that future, nothing is more important that the passion, dedication and enterprise of our young people.
“In a competitive world no nation can live off past glories. We need young people constantly coming forward with new ideas, new businesses, new ways to make this country a better place to live and work in. Inspiring those young people is what Youth Enterprise Live is all about.
“I hope that the seeds of many future success stories are sown at this event, whether that’s students resolving to study hard over the coming years, or young men and women coming away with the desire and determination to start their own business. I applaud those who founded Youth Enterprise Live for inspiring the next generation – and wish the event every success.”
Ketan, Director of Enterprise Lab who has organised the day, says “This event is a platform and legacy for our future generations, to have the Prime Minister support the event gives us the confidence that we can go on and inspire many more young people.”
