This week Julie Meyer launched the EC Young Masters University Tour at the University of Hertfordshire. Julie met with students and discussed what it means to be an entrepreneur and a budding business-person in the UK today. The tour continues throughout 2011 with visits to Queen Mary's University, Surrey University and York University to name but a few.
The EC Young Masters is a unique programme which mixes social events, online discussions and competitions aimed at encouraging networking amongst the young entrepreneurial community. The programme will also showcase the best of the nation's talent with an award's ceremony in June 2011.
The programme is free to those students or first time entrepreneurs who are keen to further their knowledge on how to start and maintain a successful business. Each member can benefit from the following:

2011 is the launch of Entrepreneur Country's first ever University competition. Students from across the country for the EC Young Masters' Awards. The purpose of the awards is to reward the best talent from across the country. The winner of the main competition 'EC Young Master of the Year award' ceremony will receive a pize of up to £5000 and more.
